  There's some interesting stuff concerning shapeshifting legends and tales concerning cats, but you'll have to dredge it out of a book that treats mediaeval Witch-trial records as accurate and impartial statements of fact. ROTFL.

  A magazine size book, with little depth, but many illustrations (which are somewhat marred by someone's idea to overprint image details in red). Contains eight chapters, each by a separate author, on different aspects of the popular horror genre. The Vampires & Werewolves chapter, by Basil Copper, states in its introduction that it does not intend to draw any conclusions, and as it devotes much of its space to the cinematic examples of both species, this is not, on the whole, unreasonable. The full-page reproduction of a 1901 Simon Vedder Werewolf illustration (p 108) is IMO quite unusual, and worth a look.
